Digital assistants: Freeing up time, improving outcomes.
Our growing range of digital assistants act like virtual employees, designed to carry out structured but repetitive clinical and administrative tasks across PMS systems. These robots work unsupervised and on schedule, improving accuracy and freeing up capacity for general practice teams.
Robots currently available:
Cardiovascular Risk Assessments (CVDRA)
ACC claims reconciliation
Specialist Referral (SR) acknowledgement message filing
Screening FIT: Normal Result Filing
Coming soon:
Cervical Screening result management
Special Authority Response
BreastScreen Aotearoa Mammogram: Normal Result Filing
More digital assistants will be released over time. If you have ideas or recommendations for new robots, we’d love to hear from you
The impact so far
Our digital assistants deliver real value:
Time savings per task via automation:
CVDRA: 5.67 minutes per file
Specialist Referral Acknowledgement: 1 minute per file
Screening FIT: 3 minutes per file.
Other benefits:
Better use of clinical time: Admin is reduced, freeing up clinicians to focus on care.
Improved screening rates: more efficient identification of eligible screening patients, to improve engagement and preventative care efforts
Improved clinical outcomes: Outcome reports generated by the robots highlight information gaps and risk calculations to help identify which patients they should focus efforts on. As illustrated below, the outcome report produced by the CVDRA robot has enabled a practice to continually improve progress towards achieving target over time
Financial return: Direct financial benefit from completing tasks which result in a claim or invoice generated which otherwise may not have been done.
