Health Accelerator exists to drive smarter, faster innovation in primary healthcare.

Our goal is to empower primary healthcare teams by reducing administrative burden, improving clinical workflows and enhancing patient experiences - so doctors, nurses, and practice staff can spend more time doing what they do best: caring for people.

We are a collaboration between four of New Zealand’s largest general practice networks - Pegasus, Pinnacle, ProCare, and Tū Ora Compass Health - collectively supporting more than 500 general practices and caring for around 2 million patients across the country.

We believe the future of healthcare needs to be simpler, more connected, and more patient focused. But innovation can be slow and fragmented when organisations work in isolation. Health Accelerator was established to overcome these challenges - pooling our resources, insights and expertise to fast-track the development of digital solutions that solve real-world problems for primary healthcare providers.

We work collaboratively with general practices, innovators, researchers and government agencies to identify opportunities, pilot new ideas and scale successful solutions across the sector. Everything we do is designed to deliver practical, tangible, and measurable benefits for primary healthcare and the communities they serve.
